A Washington University research study seeks participants age 60 and older to complete cognitive tests.


Brief description of study

The purpose of the study is to gather data on the Verbal Naming Test (VNT). This test assesses word–finding difficulties in older adults. There will be 1 study visit (1 hour) to Washington University Dept. of Psychological & Brain Sciences and 1 follow-up phone call which will last 10 minutes. Participants will complete a battery of cognitive tests. $10 is provided for time and effort. Benefits and risks will be discussed with volunteers as part of the informed consent process (IRB # 201709143).
