Detailed Study Description

Treatment of diagnosed aneurysm for wide-neck, intracranial, saccular or fusiform aneurysms

Patient Inclusion Criteria: Patients diagnosed through 1) CTA (computed tomographic angiography); 2) MRA (magnetic resonance angiography; or 3) diagnostic cerebral angiogram having an aneurysm of qualifying size to require surgical intervention - Coil Embolization Procedure is a type of neurovascular intervention procedure. There are a few different types of material used to fill an aneurysm. The most common are coils – long strands of very thin, coiled wire that look like guitar strings but are flexible like telephone cords.

Patient Exclusion Criteria: those patients not having a "wide-neck" aneurysm diagnosed by above criteria.
