Type 2 Diabetes – Add-On Therapy for Metformin

Detailed Study Description

A research study is evaluating an investigational medication for type 2 diabetes in patients who are currently taking metformin (only).

This research study may be an option if you: 

• Have been diagnosed with type 2 diabetes

• Are currently on a stable dose of Metformin and are having difficulty controlling your blood sugar levels (HbA1C)

• Have not taken any diabetes medications other than metformin in the last 12 weeks

• Have an HbA1C between 7.0% and 10.0%

• Have a Body Mass Index (BMI) between 20 and 45. Find out your BMI here

Qualified participants will receive study-related care and study medication at no cost.

Financial compensation may be provided for time and travel expenses.
