A Washington University research study seeks participants living with HIV.


Brief description of study

The purpose of the study is to gain a better understanding of sleep quality in older adults living with HIV and understand how sleep affects other HIV symptoms. There are 2 study visits. Each visit will last 60 to 90 minutes. There will be a survey and cognitive testing using an i-pad at both study visits. Risks and benefits will be discussed with volunteers as part of the informed consent process. Up to $100.00 is provided for time and effort (IRB # 201709101).

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Participants must be 50 years of age or older
2. Participants must have HIV and must be taking HIV medication
3. Participants must not have sleep apnea or other sleep disorders
