A Washington University research study seeks participants with melanoma.

Brief description of study

The purpose of the study is to develop new tests to predict the outcome of immunotherapy. There are up to 2 study visits. There may be the opportunity to participate in additional visits in the future. Each visit will last 30 to 50 minutes. There will be urine collection, survey, and home collection of fecal specimen. Benefits and risks will be discussed with volunteers as part of the informed consent process. Up to $50 is provided (Target gift card), with the possible opportunity to receive additional compensation if more study visits are completed (IRB ID #: 201709196).

Eligibility Criteria:

1. Participants must be 18 or older
2. Participants must have metastatic melanoma (starting immunotherapy but have not gotten first dose)
3. Participants must not have a previous bowel resection
