Brief description of study

18 – 45 year old females using a contraceptive arm implant are needed for a Washington University research study.

Detailed Study Description

The purpose of the study is to find a medication that stops bothersome bleeding from the contraceptive arm implant so women can keep their highly effective birth control. Participation will last 1 month. There will be up to 5 study visits. There will be daily medication for 7 days and possible blood draws. $150 to $275 is provided in Target gift cards for time and effort. Risks and benefits will be discussed as part of the informed consent process.
