Detailed Study Description

Researchers are recruiting social drinkers with and without ADHD for studies concerning the effects of alcohol. Looking for male and femal participants between 21-35 years of age. All participants are compensated for their time. Please call 257-5794.

The patient must be a social drinker between the ages of 21-35 years of age. If diagnosed with ADHD, the patient must be prescribed a stimulant based medication (I.e., methylphenidate) and will be included if they are willing to forgo medication on the day of the study.

Patients will be exluded if they have a history of substance abuse, serious physical or psychiatric diesease, and any other medical conditions that would warrant exclusion from the studies. Patients with a diagnosis for ADD or ADHD who are taking CNS-depressant medications (I.e., atomoxetine) will also be excluded from participation.
