Brief description of study

A Washington University research study seeks females with bacterial vaginosis.

Detailed Study Description

The purpose of the study is to see if a study drug is safe, acceptable, and effective at treating and preventing recurrence of bacterial vaginosis. There are 5 study visits that usually last 1 hour or less. Participation includes diary and completion of questionnaires. There will exams, blood tests, vaginal swabs, and application of study medication. Possible benefits and risks will be discussed with volunteers as part of the informed consent process. $50.00 per completed visit is provided (IRB # 201512054).
